“ચિતા નો અગ્નિ”

બુઝ્યો અગ્નિ શમી ચિતા, કરી આ દેહને ભુકત
બુઝ્યો ના અગ્નિ વાસના કેરો,
થયો ના આત્મા મુકત.
જો અગ્નિ વાસના કેરો, ન પૂરો બળી જાયે
તે એ બળેલી રાખમાંથી પણ,
દેહ નવો ઊભો થાયે.

સરસ
યાદ આવ્યા
અતૃપ્ત આશાઓનો ભાર વેંઠી વેંઠી ને
અભિલાષાની લાશોને ખેંચી ખેંચી ને
હવે શ્વાસોનો પણ લાગે છે ભાર
વ્હાલા, કેમ કરીને કરવો પાર…
યાદ આવે છે:વિપિન પરીખ
પહેલી વાર સ્મશાને ગયો તે પછી
કેટલીય રાત જંપીને સૂઈ ન’તો શક્યો,
પણ હવે તો
મને નનામી બાંધતા પણ આવડી ગઈ છે.
