“Sieve of our heart”

Heaven and hell are only
About twelve inches apart,
Hell we find in the head of man
And heaven is in his heart.

So if one wishes to see the heaven
From his head he must depart,
And learn to sift all his thoughts
Using the sieve of his own heart.
