” Heaven on Earth “

Snow clad mountains are standing still
As if meditating in the silence of space,
While sailing slow and smooth in the sky
Clouds create a misty curtain of haze.

On the slopes of the hills are scattered
Villages that are immaculately clean,
And the cattle are grazing in the meadows
Which are beautiful, serene and green.

Trees, allover, are loaded with fruits
Green grapes are looming on the wines,
Poking his head through the puffy clouds
The sun is trying to peek and shine.

Like a heaven on earth, here we find
This incredibly beautiful land,
Tucked between the peaks of the Alps
Is the land we know as Switzerland.

This land which is full of mountains,
Green valleys and beautiful lakes,
Surely decorates our mother earth,
Like an icing that decorates a cake.
